Mac OS X 10.6.2 is out

Tonight Apple has released the next update Mac OS X 10.6.2. I have it already up and running.

Attention: Do not update if you have SleepEnabler.kext in the Chameleon Extra folder. It will result in a Kernel Panic!!! For more info about this issue read this post in the Netkas Blog. Remove SleepEnabler.kext or replace it with the newer version made by Netkas before updating to Mac OS X 10.6.2.

  2. Hi. I have some problem after update. I have freeze apple logo or black screen if i boot with -v option. Kext load from /Extra/10.6/Extensions and then freeze...

  3. Problem solved. I just put kernel from 10.6.1
But still I would like to know the reason why the kernel does not boot from 10.6.2

P.S. Sorry for bad English, machine translation.
P.P.S Sorry for the double post.

  4. @Aleksey,

maybe it's your CPU. What is the exact model you have?

  5. Problem solved. Install patched kernel

  6. Also the GeForce 7300 seems to be a issue. Read the Netkas post comments for more info. I was successful after replacing it with a 9800 GT.
